MUSIC AMBASSADORS BY KEYS TO CONNECTION
Music Ambassadors is our community outreach program, to bring live music concerts to the doorsteps of senior communities. The program was founded in 2022 by Eric Wang and Clara Zhang. Since then, under this community outreach program, young musicians have performed 30 free concerts across six senior communities in the North Shore and Chicago area.

Today we performed the music of Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, and York Bowen. Eric also performed the ‘Crystal Preludes No. 1’ by the talented Indian-American composer Reena Esmail. Esmail works between the worlds of Indian and Western classical music, and brings communities together through the creation of equitable musical spaces.

Admiral at the Lake Concert Series

Clara performed a solo concert today for the Admiral at the Lake residents. She performed a program by Bach, Haydn, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, George Walker and York Bowen. The Q & A at the end of the concert was very interactive and fun!
